The AutomaticThe Automatic is our flagship HIGH performance shortboard model in the lineup. A state of the art design that is always evolving, it is a design not meant for beginners but for experienced surfers looking for a board to take their skills to the next level! If you want to ride what the pro's are riding this is it! The key design feature is the precise placement of a deep single concave matched to a curvy bottom rocker. This combination means that while planing the rocker between the feet is relatively flat (fast), and when the board is turning it utilizes the curvy (looser) rocker along the rail. The deep concave also forms a positive rail angle that grips the wave, allowing hold during hard carving turns. We also add a good amount of flip out the tail for release and lighting quick changes of direction. Catch a wave and the rest is AUTOMATIC!
