Dear George and Steve,
Thank you very much for the paddleboards(3). We are having a blast on them here. We have had them on Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake , MO., and this picture was taken two miles from my home here in Overland Park , KS. George, you did a great job sizing us up and, Steve, you did a great job making the boards. It is sometimes hard to paddle when everyone wants to know what it is. I am quick to tell them they came from infinitysurf.com
Sincerely,
Travis Shipman

Good afternoon Steve, I just wanted to give you some feedback on the new Kuku Hoe you shaped for me. I have paddled the board every morning for the last 4 days and put nearly 20 miles on it already; I guess you could say I love it. It covers the distance easily. The extra deck plugs that you put in for carrying the board with the paddle as a handle work great. In short, it is everything I had hoped for. I have tried 6 or 7 different fins in it so far and have settled on the Greenough 9.75" Stage VI as the best distance fin- the board paddles noticeably faster with it and it is easier to turn the board around with it compared to the other fins I have tried. I can't wait to get it into some chest-head high waves to see how it surfs. Thanks again for your time and more importantly for shaping a great board. I will certainly recommend your services to everyone who talks to me about stand up paddling. All the best, Rick Powell Malibu |

Steve,
The new SUB you made for me? (Me: 6'7"/260lbs; new SUB: 11'x33"x5 quad)
I took it out yesterday for the first time, Little Dume, knee- to waist-high. I can't believe how well it works for me. Somehow, it feels as stable as the 12'6" behemoth you made for me two years ago, but it turns in flat water really easy, and oh my lord, I made a few drop-in/quick exits on several waves, and I can't believe how well it turns across the face. For me, it's as light&nimble as my old 10' performance longboard. The thick tail works really well. Paddles surprisingly fast, considering the quad setup. And you just *nailed* the buoyancy/volume. The floatation is perfect. Oh, and the loops for carrying it with the paddle... soooo much easier.
Thanks for such a great SUP. I'm really diggin' it. Oh, and people really love the glass job, too. Tom Thomass Malibu, ca.

Kuku Hoe Quad, Mike Adams, Fla. |
|
Steve, I can’t say enough about the 10’4’ quad you built me. It really is a magic board. I have been riding lots of small waves so far because we are having a South Florida flat spell. That should change soon with more Tropical action. I can’t wait to use the board in well groomed head high conditions
Take care, Mike Adams |

Ottertail Paddle, Kurt Rathert |
Steve, I'll tell you what -- I think that 6 1/2" Ottertail paddle is spectacular for surfing. I don't have the best quick turn yet in rough water, so by the time I finally get turned around, I often have to get my board moving in a hurry and the "low gear" effect really works for me. Even when I have a good head start, it just feels natural to be able to paddle with fast strokes, just like I would if I were prone surfing and paddling fast trying to drop in. Everyone who sees it wants to know about it, so I try to spread the gospel and let others try it out. As my SUP surfing skills improve, so will my influence. Thanks for all your help! Kurt Rathert |
