New Aviso Model, Debby Doolittle
To Steve B. at Infinity,

Last Friday my husband and I went to a Stand Up Paddle demo spondored by Action Water Sports in Venice Beach. We tried over 20 SUP boards. The one that impressed us Most was your Infinity carbon fiber "Aviso".  If I could have walked away with one board the Aviso would have been it. Bob and I also liked the Titus and Takayama boards, but the Aviso still won out by a mile. I have to say that most of the guys (they were mostly guys) said your Infinity won them over too - because it is only 9'8" long, Paddles Great And Surf sGreat too. Win win.   The quad fin set up is awsome.

Oh Yeah, I forgot to mention the Aviso is Beautiful to look at too - but even blindfolded we would want that board on performance alone!

Thanks for another Great Infinity product. How long do we have to wait  for a board once we order?

Onward~

Here is the review of the Infinity Narrow Surf Blade that I posted on standupzone.com

"These are the most unconventional looking paddles. However, it is the paddle I have been using since May2007 and basically learned on. I love it.

For my 10'8" in the surf it seems perfect. I only have a short time on regular paddles, but they just seem too big, this Narrow 6.5" Surf Blade is wonderful.

Additionally, the t-grip handle is much better than some of the so-called "ergonomic" handles because it is smaller and doesn't fill up your hand. Once again, I've only tied a few of those. I guess some of it may be whatever you get used to, you end up liking"

This review was posted in Dec07. Since then, I've grown to like this paddle more and more. The way you can feather on the power you need, gives you much better control over board speed when catching a wave.

Attached is a photo of me of me back in January. Looks like I,m standing right on the sweet spot of the rocker, with clean release of the water due to properly designed rails. Thanks for a great SUP experience!

Hey Steve

A nice southwest swell hit Santa Cruz Thursday and Friday.  Had a great time on my new Competitor kuku hoe.  I was surprised how fast it can be.  This swell had a little more push than normal and it really brought out the fun in this board.  Stayed out for 4 1/2 hours.  Very stoked on your reccomendation.

Steve I was in your shop last Tuesday to get a pad and a vent put on my first sup.  George put the pad and vent on my new board.  I felt welcomed and felt the feelings I felt in the sixties when I used to hang out at the Rick Surfboard shop in Hermosa.  Almost all the shops these days are all about clothes shoes and everything but surfing.  Your shop is different, a surfers surf shop with some of the most impressive and progressive surfboards and sups that I have seen in a long time.  I did not feel like an outsider with my obvious simple SUP that I had shaped myself to learn on.  George showed me the stand ups that you had shaped and I can't wait to progress to get one. I have surfed all my life having grown up in Redondo Beach in the fifties and sixties. I started surfing in 63 and also have been fortunate to of experienced the most exciting changes that most will never experience.  Having never stopped surfing, like yourself, I have been lucky to have stayed involved the whole time.  I now surf on everything fromm my 6 foot fish to my 10 foot noserider . But to get back to where I was coming from when I first started writing this letter to you, thanks for letting me drag my humble SUP into your shop to for some necessary upgrades and I am happy to see a real surfshop left out there in the everything but surf, surf shops. I have almost read half of your Steves Stories and look forward every nite to reading more of the stories. Your shaping is incredible but your stories are even more captivating. You should get them published, I can't wait to read the next one. I don' t remember being this  much into reading since Siddhartha in the late sixties. I feel like I know you like a friend, having grown up in the same area. I surfed haggerteys with my classmates from south high.ratshits.breakwater, the cove and indicator. Although it is not from having lived in the same area that makes me feel that way but your stories; they are awesome....   Without a doubt I would buy a book about your life experiences, thanks for sharing them on your website,  your newest customer            Eric Thompson    Carlsbad

Hey Steve,

I went to your website to look at carving boards and saw the thing about air vents.  Please send me an air vent and installation instructions for the Kuku Hoe I bought last year.  Also I just want to tell you that I've had the opportunity to ride several different boards in Hawaii and Santa Cruz and I think my noserider is the best board for me by a longshot.
